Call to the TIOx Holders
I m pretty excited to announce that after several dicussions, I have taken the decision to start a Telegram group to represent TIOx owners in their relations with trade.io management team, new TIOx investors, and overall the crypto space.
This Telegram will be managed by a different number of active people in the TIOx community, and the idea is to act in a democratic way, where everyone will have his voice heard.
Here is the plan for the coming week :
First and before going any further, the condition to start this complex process is to have at least 50 TIOx holders to join the group by thursday the 31st. As soon as 50 TIOx holders join the group, we will start going through the following steps. Everyone is welcome in the group, as long as he/she owns TIOx. We won’t request any proof and base this info on trust.
1. Creating a board, with between 3 and 8 people. People of the board will have several duties :
* Collect questions from all TIOnauts in the different telegram channels
* Communicate with the management and get answers to the different questions that were collected
* Spread answers to the community
* Be available for answering general questions about TIOx over telegram
* Make propositions to help improve TIOx value
People that wish to be part of the board should have a proposal explaining why they should be part of it.
Every month, a vote (poll on telegram for example), will be opened during 24–48h, during which telegram participants will be able to elect members of the board.
Anyone with more than 10 votes will be part of the board, within the limits of a maximum of 8 people being elected (the 8 people with most votes).
Once a month a poll will be created to confirm or change the elected members.
2. Telegram channel activity
A new additionnal channel would be created to have the elected board users to discuss directly with the management of trade.io (note, this suppose they will agree to do so !) and ask them the questions that were collected in the main group. Anyone should be able to join this channel, but only elected members should be able to discuss with management.
Elected members should have admin status for as long as they are elected on @TIOx_Holders_Group (or whatever name it will be) telegram.
3. Communication
Elected members should post news about their discussions at least 2 times per month (every 2 weeks).
Those discussions can be with management, or internal discussions on actions that the community could take to improve TIOx utility or awareness.
For example, the board could deceide to ask every member of the community to send an email to an exchange to ask for TIOx to be listed (or vote on twitter polls etc…).
Another example, would be the board to get in touch with trade.io management to ask them to try to get listed on a specific exchange.
All the results of those discussions should be summarized in a report every two weeks. No info should be filtered, full transparency is a must.
4. Who should propose himself for the elections
It would be a good idea if the people that are interested in becoming part of the board meet at least one of those criterias :
* Have a financial background
* Have a technical background
* Is a regular trader (fx or crypto)
* Represent a geo community (I m thinking about Vietnamese people for example that had a large community in trade.io)
And a must : Own at least some TIOx !
5. Creation of a website
A simple website will be setup to summarize the group activity, give reports, update its members etc…
Conclusion
I would also like to suggest that at least one member owns the admin credentials over all TG channels. Someone such as Dustin (a well known member of our community) who, despite the fact that he can’t be part of the LP, has always shown interest and wisdom on many aspects. We would need him to accept that, but this is just a suggestion at the moment !
The idea behind all this is to improve the discussions with the management team of trade.io as much as possible. But also to have a greater impact as a community on how things and communication are being handled.
Hopefully, this could bring the negativity down quiet a bit, and bring up more positivity. Wether it will work or not we, as a community, have to do it, to support our investment as much as possible.
